Introducing the ‘Henfield Business Network’
2020, as we all know has been a difficult year for all of us. However, there have been some positives and the growing sense of community in and around the village has been one notable highlight.
Small businesses, however, have for the most part found the continuing trading restrictions very difficult, whether that’s due to lockdown, social distancing or economic factors. As a local small business community, we are all in this together and so now feels like the right time to launch the ‘HENFIELD BUSINESS NETWORK’, a non-profit local business networking group. This would be a free forum where local businesses can come together to meet, share ideas and discuss current challenges. We hope that building such a network will consolidate that sense of community amongst business owners as well as improving collaboration amongst members, sharing skills and ending business isolation.
Initially this would be a monthly or Quarterly ‘virtual’ meet-up although once the COVID restrictions permit, we would aim to meet face to face where possible. Going forward, we would like to involve guest speakers, allow for 1:1 discussion, meet in different venues and allow members to showcase their business. There would also be access to a private Facebook group to enable further group liaison outside the meetings.
We want to hear from small business owners in the village and surrounding local area that would be interested in joining this voluntary group so we can gauge interest. If you would like to be a part of this please drop Ian an email: firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 07776 184894 and along we can start the process of setting up the first virtual get-together and progress membership.
We all know times are tough but believe as a local collaborative business community we can all help each other through these challenges and beyond.
Contact us today and lets all support each other in the local business community.
